1:1 Reformer Pilates

  • Reformer Pilates is a form of exercise that is done on a specially designed machine called a reformer. It consists of various exercises that help improve core strength, flexibility, and overall body alignment. The reformer machine uses springs and pulleys for resistance, allowing for a wide range of exercises to target different muscle groups. It's a fantastic way to work on your strength, posture, and flexibility in a low-impact setting.

  • We offer Reformer Pilates in a 1:1 capacity, which offers tailored exercises to meet your specific needs and goals. This allows for a more focused and individualised workout, ensuring proper form and alignment while targeting specific muscle groups. This personalised approach means immediate feedback and adjustments can be made, maximising the effectiveness of each exercise.

  • “I think I took for granted a simple thing such as balance all my life. I never really thought about it, but with a gradually aging body it is imperative we maintain good balance and strength. Jess’s classes have done just that with a noticeable difference in my ability to maintain day to day activities with ease.”

    Julie Meagher

  • “I have been to Senior Strength & Balance L1 & now on L2 with Jess Hannah and have found them to be very beneficial to me. I have found the courses helpful to strengthen my balance, and my stiffing joints. The more I practice after the lessons the more profitable it is to me. The cost is very reasonable. I recommend Senior Strength & Balance with Jess to everyone who is starting to feel their age.”

    Peter Shelling

  • “The activities of the programme are at a level that ensures participants achieve a good measure of success. Jess connects with her mature pupils in a warm and friendly manner. She does not draw attention to individual's inabilities or mistakes in performing the exercises. She is very safety conscious and ensures all possible risks are avoided. Jess spans the generation gap with ease and as a result her classes are always cheerful, positive occasions.”

    Bill Coppell

  • "I enjoy this class on several levels. I appreciate Jess for her knowledgeable and enthusiastic teaching - she is always professional and kind in her approach. I can see and feel how my strength has, and continues to improve. Thank you Jess and all the others in the class, I am really pleased I started and am happy to recommend the class and teacher - give it a go!"
